You can find more information about the Universities or Colleges your students show interest in or have applied for in the Universities tab on the BridgeU dashboard.
Some of the data in this feature can also come from historical data imported for students who already have application outcomes. Take a look at this article for more information on how to Bulk import application data into BridgeU
On the Universities overview page, you can filter the Universities or Colleges by graduation year or by the destination country. Once you click into a University, an overlay will pop up revealing more details about the University or College and the respective students who have shortlisted or sent an application.
How to use the Universities Tool
Trends
The data is presented in two different ways so you can interpret it as needed. We have the table view and also the graph view. You can see from the table (shown above):
- the number of students that shortlisted this University
- the number of applications
- the successful/unsuccessful outcomes received
- the number of students actually attending the University.
- You can also see data from previous years.

Scattergrams
The Scattergram graph displays the students’ application data points for the selected University or College. It is based on grades and test scores and the colour represents the outcomes of the applications.
- Green - Accepted
- Red - Rejected
- Yellow - Waitlisted
- Grey - No outcomes
You can change the axis to see different grades and compare that with particular tests. Hovering on each data point will also show more info on each application.
Scattergram is a feature similar to Analytics > University offers tab. We highly recommended using Scattergram in Universities as it displays full application data for all students (current or archived students with BridgeU accounts and students imported from Historical Data without BridgeU accounts). Please also note that Scattergrams require at least 3 data points to be plotted on the chart: at least one advisor-entered grade/score (We only support IB Predicted, 4.0 GPA, Weighted GPA so you might need to convert different scores first) and students need to have added an application to that university.
