Once you have set up your BridgeU account, you will be able to access your Home page and access the following: Suggestions, Top Stories, Your Progress and Your Tasks.
Suggestions
When you visit the home page, you are greeted with personalised next steps tailored to your specific stage in the student journey. These personalised home page next steps are informed by the information we gather during onboarding and the progress you've have made on our platform. Our goal is to provide students with clear guidance and support as they navigate their educational path.
Top Stories
In this section, you can read articles, watch videos and view recommendations. Press the Save button next to the item of interest and revisit any items you saved. You will find them in the Saved section. The articles can be filtered per category: Matched, Shortlisted, News and Events. Each category corresponds to the hashtag # in each article.
Your Progress
Use this progress tool to get you started on BridgeU. Your recommendations will start appearing once you complete these 4 simple steps:
- Introduction: Select at which stage you are at in your university research
- Countries: Select the countries you are interested in studying
- Subject interests: Choose the subjects you are interested in
- Shortlist: View your matches and start your shortlisting! We recommend 6-7 shortlists to kickstart your university research.

If anything changes, click on any of those 4 steps, and you can edit your answers anytime. You can also add more details in your Profile Builder to personalise your matches.
Your Tasks
If any tasks are assigned to you, they will appear here for quick reference and action. This is where you'll send the task for your advisor to review once you've completed. You can learn more information about how to send a task for review in this article.
